Eltham Labour Attends March for the Alternative

Clive Efford MP and a delegation from Eltham Labour attended the March for the Alternative on the 26th March.

Eltham Labour marched with around 400,000 others against the timing and level of cuts being brought in by the Conservative-Liberal government.

The group marched from Charing Cross to Hyde Park where Ed Miliband was speaking to a huge crowd who were angered by Conservative-Liberal Governments policies.

Asked why he was marching Clive said "These are the wrong cuts, at the wrong time; we have seen that growth has stalled under these cuts. We will not be able to cut the deficit if the Economy is not able to grow"
