Foodbanks;
Clive recently received the Trussell Trust Eltham Foodbank figures for April to Sept – 9,906 emergency parcels were issued – 49% up on the same period last year. Nationally 301,653 went to children. This must stop! Clive supports the Trussell Trust call to end people’s dependency on foodbanks. The Tories blame the need for foodbanks on poor lifestyle choices!

Cuts to Greenwich Schools;
The Tories promised they would increase funding per pupil but funding has been cut by an average of £307 per pupil in Greenwich. Schools in Greenwich have had £33.7 million cut from their budgets since 2015. Every primary school in our area will get a lower than inflation increase in funding next year – that is yet another real-term cut.
